HONDA ELEVATE

Honda has unveiled its compact SUV named as Elevate. After the demise of Honda CRV and Honda wrv Honda was only selling its two sedans Honda City and Honda Amaze. Thus this makes  elevate a very important car for Honda India.

This car is based on companies global small platform that also under pins the city made size sedan. At front it gets massive grill  attached with all LED headlamps. There are skid plates at the front and rear and body cladding all around for a muscular appeal. The side profile get 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels and at the rear it gets connected LED tail lights with a roof mounted spoiler and Shark fin antenna.

The Honda elevate comes with the length of 4312 mm and with a width of 1790 mm. The height of Honda elevate is up to 1650 mm and the wheel base of this car is 2650 mm. This car comes with a ground clearance of 220 mm and a boot space of 458l.

And in this car Honda is offering a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which we have seen before in the Honda City this engine creates a total output of 119 BHP and 145 Nm of torque with a manual gearbox of 6 speed manual or with a CVT gearbox of 7 speed. Sadly there is no hybrid power train on this car to offer but the company has from is that it will introduced its electric version within the next 3 years.

When it comes to the interior the Honda elevate gets a 10.25 in touch screen infotainment system with wireless Android auto, apple carplay and connected car features which will can be  connected and used via Honda app. It also gets a digital instrument cluster ,a lane watch camera and a wireless smartphone charger and this car also comes with ADAS

Pricing of Honda elevate:-

Expected pricing of Honda elevate are from 11 lakhs to 18 lakhs. Honda elevate will give competition to its rival such as Hyundai Creta, KIA Seltos Maruti Suzuki grand vitara Toyota urban cruiser hyryder, Volkswagen taigun ,Skoda kushak , MG Astor and citroen C3 aircross.

Honda Elevate vs Rivals

In terms of dimensions the Honda elevate boasts of the highest ground clearance of 220 mm but it has the smallest wheels in the segment although the 458l of boot is on the largest in comparison. For the rivals the Maruti grand vitara and the Toyota hyryder are the longest while the Mg Astor is the widest among all . The citroen C3 air cross has the tallest and longest wheel base.

When compared to the rivals engine the Honda Elevate has larger engine displacement and power but it lags in terms of torque against C3 Aircross, Taigun,and Kushaq
